The game
Five or ten minutes, forty rats, one podium.
- Sign in with Google. A Solana wallet is made for you, with no seed phrase.
- Stake 0.10 or 1 USDC for five minutes, 10 or 100 for ten. Six players start a pool; up to forty play.
- Score by eliminations and by holding the moving zone.
- The top three are paid 50 / 30 / 20 by the escrow. Free Play is always free.

How it works
How a pool pays.

Sign in
Google sign-in. Privy makes the player a Solana wallet. No seed phrase.

Join
The player approves one entry. Nothing leaves the wallet while the room fills.

Collect
Six or more players in: every entry moves into the match’s escrow.

Play
Five or ten minutes, by pool. The match server keeps the score and checks every hit.

Pay
The escrow pays the top three. Not paid within 30 minutes: every entry is refunded in full.
RatPool pays the network fees, so players never need SOL.

Trust
Every pool settles itself.
A tester pool on devnet: 0.60 USDC in, the top three paid on chain.
No withdrawal key
The escrow has no way for anyone, us included, to take a stake.
Fixed when it opens
Each pool’s fee and split are written into it before anyone joins.

The escrow and payment code are public on GitHub, for anyone to check.

What we learned
Filling the room is the work.
A pool needs six players at the same moment. On devnet, 68 rooms opened and never filled, while two scheduled tester nights filled 10 pools.
So RatPool grows around a time and a place: weekly pool nights.
